We finally decided to get Kaiya's portraits done, and despite the fact that they had to take 10 shots to get 2 good ones, they turned out pretty well. We got them at Kiddie Kandids and they did an awesome job. Kaiya's not much of a smiler for props, so we were worried that we wouldn't get any good ones, but we ended up with three good shots and in two she was even smiling. This is our favorite.

I was just searching under my daughters name and pulled up your blog. Same spelling, wondering if it is pronounced the same . . . kaiya as in ka eye ah? We thought we were pretty original!
