Ahh, Memories

When I was at my parent's house I found a lot of my pictures from high school and the first year in college. I thought some of them were pretty funny, and some of them are just fun memories, but either way I wanted to blog them. I hope no one is offended if I put a funny picture of you on!! Enjoy! This is Chels, me, and Steph on Memorial Day weekend in 2000. Remember this?

My sister Sarah and I at her graduation in 2000
I doubt Melanie will ever see this, but it's funny for all of us who know Melanie Davis. I think this is from girls camp.
Do you remember this Steph? This is from when we went to your grandparent's house in Idaho. Good times.
The classic underwear on the head.
This is from our prom in 2001. Chels was dressed up in a "western" theme. It wasn't just weird taste in prom dresses.
The morning of Chelsea's 18th birthday. I love it.
Chels, remember our trip to Hawaii with the fam?
Grad night 2002. Brittany, I miss you!
This is Halloween 2002 at BYU Idaho. I think Amy was supposed to be blind and I was a mouse.
Ames, you are looking good!!
Thanks for sharing memories with me!

Kaiya Looks Cute in a Swimsuit

The other day Patrick decided that it was now okay for Kaiya to go in the hot tub (apparently my opinion wasn't that important). So yesterday it was finally nice enough to go in and she loved it! she splashed around and kicked her legs. It was adorable. But I thought she looked so cute in her swimsuit I had to take her picture. She's showing off her newfound ability to point as well, which is something she loves to do becuase then mommy will give her what she wants!

Patrick's New Look

So here's the new look Patrick is sporting these days. It looks a little Brigham Young, Wilford Woodruff-y, but I kind of like it.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Patrick is at school all day today, so Kaiya and I will be celebrating her first Valentine's day together at home. I made some V-day cookies last night (thanks for the recipe Steph!), and I'll probably eat them all today... well, maybe I'll save some for Patrick. I tried to take a Valentines picture of Kai all dressed up in her V-day outfit and with the new stuffed animal Grandma Ginger gave her this morning, but of course she wouldn't sit still when I had her in front of a cute background holding the animal. So this is all I could get, but she's still pretty cute:) We hope you all have a fabulous Valentine's Day too!!

Tejas Amigos!!

Last week Kaiya and I flew out to Texas to surprise my parents and spend a week with them. My sister Sarah is there right now also with her family, so it was really fun for the babies to be able to play together. They got along really well and had a lot of fun, aside from Kaiya trying to beat Miles up in the bathtub. We had a really good trip and were able to spend a lot of time outside, which was nice becuase the weather here has been so cold we haven't been outside in months. Here is a picture overload of our trip. We hope you enjoy!

We dressed the babies up in coordinating outfits to take pictures on our last day there (the pictures are in reverse order)

One day we went to the beach and Kaiya enjoyed trying to eat the sand, while I enjoyed trying to keep the sand out of her mouth.
My parents and their grandbabies

Kaiya and Miles enjoying a meal together

The babies fighting over who got to pull up the grass first

We took the kids to the park one day and they had tons of fun. Kaiya liked the swings the best and was a little afraid of the slide

The babies had so much fun playing together and we all had a great time. We can't wait to go back again!
