I can't believe it. Kaiya is already six months old! She is so much fun these days and doing so many new things. I love it, but it makes me sad to think how fast the past six months have gone by and how in six more she'll no longer be a baby. Today she had to get more shots and that was not fun for either of us. But so far she's doing a lot better than the last time. So we'll keep our fingers crossed and hope this one won't be so bad. Also new in Kaiya's life: zucchini! I made her some the other day and she loved it! I wasn't sure it would be a success after the way she wholeheartedly rejected her peas, but zucchini seems to be a new favorite. She's getting to be such a big girl and she's such a good baby. Patrick and I are enjoying every day with her and having so much fun watching her grow!

More Pictures...
Here are some more pictures from the week my sister Sarah and her son Miles were here. We dressed the babies up in their Halloween costumes, so here's also a preview of next week. The other pictures are from when we went to the Albertson Park in Boise to look at the changing leaves. Unfortunately it was raining a lot all weekend so we got a little wet. But it was beautiful. We spent a lot of time at the mall also, because it's the only thing we know of to do in Boise that's indoors. So it was a pretty fun-filled weekend and now we're trying to catch up on our rest! (that's kind of impossible with a six month old... too bad).
Cousins!
Kaiya's cousin Miles (and his mommy) came to visit us last week. They had so much fun getting to know one another and playing. Kaiya especially enjoyed trying to grab cousin Miles' head, which resulted in a few scratches, but Miles was quite forgiving. All in all it was super fun to have Miles and Sarah here. Thanks for coming to play with us!!

A Trip!
Kaiya and I went out to Utah this weekend to visit my good friend Stephanie and her little girl Mia. We hadn't seen each other in two years, so it was so fun to finally hang out again. Kaiya had a blast watching Mia run around and Mia loved to steal Kaiya's toys. Luckily Kaiya didn't mind. It was a super fun weekend and I wish we could do it every week! Thanks again Steph for letting us stay at your house and playing with us!
